Hystorical archive

In this section, it is possible to request complete aerial photographs or portions that are not available for online viewing but are included in CGR’s extensive archive, which contains imagery with acquisition dates dating back to the 1960s. The aerial photographs are digitized using photogrammetric scanners at 1210 dpi (21 microns) and are provided in TIFF file format.

It is also possible to purchase:

  • a stereo model composed of two aerial photographs digitized using photogrammetric scanners at 1814 dpi (14 microns) and supplied in TIFF format together with the orientation parameters (camera centers and angular values);

  • digital orthophotos for aerial surveys carried out from 1988 onwards.

To request the availability of the aerial photographs, simply fill in the request form specifying the area of interest, indicating the address (street, no. municipality) or the geographic coordinates (Long – Lat), and the reference period.

By purchasing images from the historical archive, the customer agrees to all the clauses set out in the terms of service at the time of purchase.

All products are provided for study purposes only and without any legal value regarding the date of acquisition.
Proof of the acquisition date is provided through the certified print product.
